About this Project
IKEA Batu Kawan Store opened its door on March 14 2019, giving the opportunity for the northern region population to access over 8,000 well designed, functional and affordable Swedish home furnishings. Taking up over 470,135 sq ft IKEA Batu Kawan Store has 49 showrooms that presents localised take on its home furnishing solutions. IKEA Batu Kawan is pre-installed with many features such as photovoltaic solar panels, rainwater capture system, energy recovery equipment and parking bays for eco-friendly vehicles.

Completing the Matrade Convention Centre Kuala Lumpur project is a huge accomplishment due to the complexity and technical challenges in constructing solid walls and panels which were up to 60 meters in height.
